We love our rugby, and we love Byron Bay. So much so that we’ve been involved with the Byron Bay Sevens Festival in some capacity for over 20 years.
Since 2016 we’ve been helping the competition organisers – Byron Bay Rugby Club’s small but incredible team of volunteers – to promote and deliver the event. improve both their communication with prospective and participating teams, and streamline some of their process to reduce the operational burden of the registration process.
We started with revamping their website design & functionality, introducing email marketing and automation along the way. We’ve also helped them with sponsorship and fundraising initiatives, social media strategy, content creation & distribution, as well as designing a new event logo when Stone & Wood joined the event as naming rights partner in 2022.
The Stone & Wood Invitational Byron Bay Sevens Festival is now one of Australia’s premier, and indeed most iconic, community rugby events on the annual calendar, drawing clubs from around Australia and internationally as far as Fiji, New Zealand, Singapore and even Brazil.
We hope to see you there on the third weekend in October each year.
